Camel Safari in Thar Desert

Arrive at Delhi international airport, you will be assisted by our representative and transferred to the hotel. Stay overnight in the hotel.

After breakfast, start a daylong tour of Old & New Delhi. Today visit historical Qutab Minar, which was the tallest tower in India once upon a time, Humanyun's Tomb - this was constructed by Begum Hamida for his Emperor husband from Mughal dynasty Humanyun. It is considered as a forerunners of world famous Taj Mahal. Also take a tour of India Gate, the house of President and Parliament House. If time permits visit Red Fort - listed as UNESCO world heritage site and is an example of great Mughal architecture, Jama Masjid - one of the biggest mosques in Asia, historical Chandni Chowk market and Raj Ghat - the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi - the Father of Nation.

In time, transfer to the airport to catch the flight to Jodhpur. On arrival at Jodhpur, drive towards Golden city of Jaisalmer. Arrive at Jaisalmer and transfer to the hotel.

After breakfast, take a tour of still populated Golden Fort and the beautiful Jain temples located inside the fort. Also visit the Havelis of Jaisalmer to see the incredible stone work as Patwon Ki Haveli, Nathmalji Ki Haveli and Salim Singhji Ki Haveli. Stay overnight at the hotel.

After having breakfast, transfer through the jeeps to the starting point of the camel safari. Here, you will meet the team of this camel safari tour and ride the camel. You will travel through great Thar Desert. En-route, see Barabagh – an oasis in the desert at Jaisalmer and also the historical royal cenotaphs located closely. Enjoy the lunch under a desert tree and relax for few hours. After taking the rest for couple of hours, ride the ship of desert again towards the camp site. Stay in the camel safari camps below the star lit beautiful sky.

Enjoy the breakfast in the camp and begin the adventure towards Ram Kunda (an auspicious pond), here have the lunch & relax. In the afternoon start the safari towards Lodhurva village. Lodhurva is the previous capital of Jaisalmer state and very much famous for the carved Jain temples.

Today, leave for Kanoi village. In Kanoi, see the amazing artistic houses. In the night stay in the camp located the Kanoi Sand Dunes.

Today, proceed to Rawla Sand Dunes stopping on the way at Sam Sand Dunes to have the fresh lunch. Arrive at Rawla Sand Dunes and enjoy the Rajasthani Folk music along with traditional Dance.

Today reach to the ruined village of Khaba. Enjoy the lunch near to the Muslim Dhani (a tiny village). En-route, visit a Hindu village Jamara. Arrive at Khaba and relax. Khaba was a flourishing village of trader Paliwal Brahmins. Visit the small Khaba Fort, a little pond and a very nice geological museum to view some Fossil stones and the articles.

After breakfast, start the riding to ruined Kuldhara village. On the way, have the lunch in Jaseri Village. Stay for the night at Kuldhara.

Today will be the culminating day of the camel safari trip. Enjoy the lunch in Mool Sagar Village. After lunch, transfer through the jeep to Jaisalmer to stay overnight.

After having leisurely breakfast, drive to Blue city of Jodhpur. Arrive in Jodhpur and check in to the hotel. After lunch take a tour of one of the most imposing forts in India, Mehrangarh Fort and the royal cenotaphs located at Jaswant Thada.

At Appropriate time, transfer to the airport to catch the flight for Delhi. Arrive in Delhi and embark the connecting flight back home. The tour ends.
