Gujarat Wildlife Tour

Arrive at Ahmedabad international airport, you will be assisted by our representative and transferred to the hotel. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Today depart for Dasada. Arrive at Dasada and check in to wildlife resort. After having lunch, take a jeep safari into the Little Rann of Kutch Wildlife Sanctuary. It is a home of highly endangered Asiatic Wild Ass. Other Mammals found at Wild Ass Sanctuary are Nilgai, Chinkara, Jungle Cat, the foxes and the wolf. Stay overnight in the resort.

After breakfast, start again the wildlife safari through the jeeps. In winter months, at Little Rann of Kutch Wildlife Sanctuary a bird watcher can view the bustard of McQueen, white buzzard, booted eagle and common eye eagle. After lunch, visit Nawa Talao (Lake) to spot demoiselle and cranes mainly in the winter.

After having breakfast, leave Dasada for Bhuj crossing the nice wet & dry lands which is an ideal thing for various birds. On arrival at Bhuj, check in to your hotel.

Today, drive to Moti Virani. Arrive at Moti Virani and check in to the birding camp. In the afternoon, visit Grey Hypoculius Branch in Fulay. There are very few sites in India where Grey Hypoculius can be seen.

Today take a day return excursion to Banni Grasslands one of the largest grasslands in India. Banni Grassland is one of the prominent bird watching areas with a rich Aquila & other eagle’s concentration. Stay overnight at the camp at Moti Virani.

Today take an excursion to very famous Bustard Sanctuary of India closely located to Naliya. The grasslands here are the best for Indian bustards which is highly endangered. You may also see Indian wolf and Chinkaras.

Today, drive to Mandvi and check in to the beach camp. After lunch, visit the coastal areas to spot the various birds. Rest of the day is free to relax on the scheduled beaches of Mandvi.

Have leisurely breakfast and drive to Jamnagar. On arrival at Jamnagar, transfer to the hotel. After having lunch, visit Khijadiya Bird Sanctuary where you might see Indian skimmer. In addition to Indian Skimmer you may also get to see the great-crested grebe, Caspian tern and black necked stork etc. Stay overnight at Jamnagar.

Today visit various species of birds in the Gulf of Kutch - one of the very good places for bird watching. The prominent birds found in this region are crab-plover, Kentish plover, broad-billed sandpiper, ruddy turnstone and oystercatcher.

In the morning check out from the hotel and drive to the historical destination Gondal. Arrive at Gondal and check in to the palace hotel. Today visit the grassland of Gondal to spot some bird species.

After breakfast, transfer to Gir National Park – the only home of endangered Asiatic Lions. On arrival at Gir National Park, check in to the wildlife resort. In the afternoon, visit the interpretation zone to spot some birds and other wildlife.

The day will be used in taking morning and afternoon safaris in the national Park. Stay overnight in the wildlife resort.

In the morning leave Gir for Bhavnagar visiting Velavadar National Park on the way to spot Jackal, the blackbucks, Jungle Cat and Indian Fox. Stay overnight in the hotel at Bhavnagar.

After breakfast take a guided birding tour in port area, near the lake and Victoria Park to see few bird species. In time, drive to Bhavnagar airport for onward journey. The tour ends.
