This tour presents a Tiger Safari in India, which includes Ranthambhore National Park and Bandhavgarh National Park along with Indian birding tours at Keoladeo Ghana National Park also known as Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1 – Delhi-Arrival

Arrive at Delhi international airport, you will be assisted by our representative and transferred to the hotel.

Day 2 – Delhi

DelhiAfter breakfast, start a daylong tour of Old & New Delhi. Today visit historical Qutab Minar, which was the tallest tower in India once upon a time, Humanyun’s Tomb – this was constructed by Begum Hamida for his Emperor husband from Mughal dynasty Humanyun. It is considered as a forerunners of world famous Taj Mahal. Also take a tour of India Gate, the house of President and Parliament House. If time permits visit Red Fort – listed as UNESCO world heritage site and is an example of great Mughal architecture, Jama Masjid – one of the biggest mosques in Asia, historical Chandni Chowk market and Raj Ghat – the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi – the Father of Nation.

Day 3 – Delhi-Jaipur

Hawa Mahal JaipurToday, after breakfast transfer Jaipur known as Pink City. Jaipur is among one of few well planned cities of India. Arrive at Jaipur and check in to the hotel. Late afternoon is free to explore the traditional and colorful markets of Jaipur especially in the walled city. By the evening, we will take you for the excursion to Lion Fort (Nahargarh Fort) to have a perfect sunset view of Jaipur.

Day 4 – Jaipur

Jantar Mantar JaipurIn the morning our guide will meet you at the hotel and start a full day sightseeing tour. Today visit the historical Amber Fort – you will ascend the heights of the fort through an elephant, the signature monument of Jaipur- Hawa Mahal (the wind palace); know the astrology at the observatory (Jantar Mantar), the royal City Palace & its museum.

Day 5 – Jaipur-Ranthambhore National Park

Ranthambhore National ParkIn the morning depart for one of the most popular safaris of India – Ranthambhore National Park. Arrive at Ranthambhore and check in to the hotel. Later, take an afternoon game viewing safari in the park to see the various wild animals.

Day 6 – Ranthambhore National Park

Ranthambhore National ParkToday will be used in visiting Ranthambhore national park twice by the jeep safaris to explore the rich wildlife including the king of the jungle Tiger.

Day 7 – Ranthambhore-Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary

Bharatpur Bird SanctuaryToday, transfer further to Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. Arrive in Bharatpur and check in to the hotel. In the afternoon, ride the Cycle Rickshaw to visit the Keoladeo Ghana National Park (UNESCO World Heritage Site) to view various migratory and Indian birds. Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary or Keoladeo Ghana National Park is considered as a paradise for the birds and it is also one of the best places to see different mammals.

Day 8 – Bharatpur (Keoladeo Ghana National Park)

Golden Temple with Tibetan CultureIn the morning, take a tour in the park again by the cycle rickshaw with our expert naturalist. Later visit Bund Bharetha Sanctuary to view the migratory birds.

Day 9 – Bharatpur-Fatehpur Sikri-Agra

Taj Mahal TourIn the morning, transfer to Agra en-route visiting the former capital of Mughal Emperor Akbar, Fatehpur Sikri also known as deserted capital. Arrive at Agra and check in to the hotel. In Agra, visit the monument of love Taj Mahal – one of the most photogenic and beautiful buildings in the entire world. Taj Mahal was built by Shah Jahan – a mighty Mughal Emperor in the memory of his beautiful wife and beloved Mumtaz Mahal. Later, take a tour of historical Agra Fort (An UNESCO World Heritage Site). Agra Fort was the place from where four Mughal Emperors ruled an enormous empire spread in entire Indian Sub-Continental.

Day 10 – Agra-Overnight Train

In time, transfer to the station to embark the overnight train to Katni (nearest station to Bandhavgarh National Park).

Day 11 – Katni-Bandhavgarh National Park

Bandhavgarh National ParkOn arrival at Katni station, transfer to the land of White Tiger – Bandhavgarh National Park. Arrive at Bandhavgarh and check in to the jungle lodge. In the afternoon, do the jungle safari.

Day 12 – Bandhavgarh National Park

Bandhavgarh National ParkThe whole day will be utilized in visiting the park through the jeep safaris to see Tiger and other major animals. Bandhavgarh is one of the best national parks of India having the maximum chances to view the tiger.

Day 13 – Bandhavgarh-Khajuraho

KhajurahoToday, take one more jeep safari in the morning saying good buy to Bandhavgarh National Park. Later, you will be transferred to Khajuraho. Arrive at Khajuraho and check in to at the hotel.

Day 14 – Khajuraho-Varanasi

VaranasiAfter breakfast, take a tour of Eastern Group and Western Group of ancient temples. The most of temples in Khajuraho are built by Chandela Kings and are very famous for their architecture and due the erotic carvings on the temples based on famous epic Kama Sutra. Khajuraho temples are UNESCO World heritage sites. These temples of Khajuraho are not known about Hindu religion or for the God but are famous for sexual figures carved on the temple walls. In time, drive to the airport to take the flight for Varanasi. On arrival at Varanasi, transfer & check in at the hotel. In the evening, take the tour of Dashashvamegh Ghats to experience the River Ganges Aarti.

Day 15 – Varanasi

River Ganges AartiIn the early morning, drive to the Ghats of auspicious River Ganges to enjoy a boat ride. Also walk through the narrow lanes of Varanasi to explore various ancient temples. After having breakfast, visit Sarnath where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon.

Day 16 – Varanasi-Delhi-Departure

At Appropriate time, transfer to the airport to catch the flight for Delhi. Arrive in Delhi and embark the connecting flight back home. The tour ends.
